Don't Flatter Me

It has probably become rather obvious here that I am all for tradition refreshed... or an eclectic mix of styles. I loved Two Gentlemen from Verona set in the twenties, and now I'm fully convinced that the silent film era works wonderfully for morality tales as well. At least when attempted by Tony DiTerlizzi.

The story is a classic, the illustrations are mesmerizing and memorable. I suppose if you want your children to remember a lesson, this creatively creepy tale should do the trick.
